Deborah J Hills

Deborah lives with her husband and their dog Casey, at their home on the lake in Orono, Maine. She enjoys swimming, fishing, reading, and writing, as well as spending time with her family. She and her husband have two children, Ryan and Jennifer. They have six grand children, which live in the Bangor area. She has been married to her husband Ray for thirty five years. Her prior writings, consist of both short stories and poetry and her desire for this book, is that it will be the first of many more to be co-authored by her friend and Savior. When you see the beautiful and radiant sunset on the cover of this book, you will understand how she was inspired to write about one topic in particular in her book. The uniqueness and flare of the book unfolds with many testimonials of her life and experiences that gives glory and praise to the Lord. Her life long dream was fulfilled by her faith and belief in the Lord and with this steadfastness, she was rewarded by His grace and benevolence, when He provided the means for she and her husband to acquire their home at the lake. For many years she and her husband yearned for the peace and serenity of having a small cabin on the water. God granted this wish in abundance by not only giving them a cabin, but a house as well. She and her family have spent many peaceful evenings at the lake, as they enjoyed the calling of the loons and watched the splendor and beauty of the fiery sun, as it kissed the treetops good night to exit with grace and silence. She met Jesus and accepted Him as her personal Savior over twenty years ago and has recently recommitted her faith and walk with Him through revival. This book was dictated from God's spirit to her hands and she hopes that as you read this, you will desire to know Him in a more personal and intimate way.
