Bunyan Bryant

Bryant Bunyan, Ph.D. lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan and is a Professor of School of Natural Resources and Environment at the University of Michigan. Bunyan is instrumental in establishing the School's Environmental Justice Specialization that focuses on the differential impact of environmental contaminants on people of color and low-income communities. He is also the co-founder and Director of the Environmental Justice Initiative for research and retrieval/dissemination conferences. Research and conferences include both a domestic and international foci, particularly on climate justice. Areas of teaching include Small Group Organization and Advocacy Planning (SNRE 495), Research for Environmental Justice (SNRE 594), and Environmental Justice; Domestic and International (SNRE 492).
