Barbara Towell

My name is Barbara Towell and I live in Harrow with my husband and two cats. Up until recently I was teaching English full-time in a local high school. I now enjoy the luxury of having more time for music and writing. I have already had some short articles published by a national magazine. Some years ago I sold a series of children's stories for Dial-a-Telephone-Story, and was the winner of the Harrow 2000 Millennium Carol Writing Competition. With my husband John, I wrote the musical "Faith is the Key" which was staged in Harrow and was a local success. I really enjoy writing songs, music, poetry and scripts for performance. "A Little Piece for Mother" is my first novel.
