I am an accidental author/poet, I also discovered blogging a couple of years ago. I am also an avid reader (when I can find the time) . 
A physician by training, and a healer by passion; originally from Nigeria, I moved to America in 1994 to complete my medical training. My writing is and has been borne out of the experiences that have shaped my life over the past few years, particularly those that have led me to accepting myself as the woman God created me to be, with the aim of inspiring women (and men) like me to do the same by reaching inwards and looking upward. 
My first book - 'The Voice of One Woman' (Xulon Press), an anthology of poems, prose, musings and short stories was released in March 2012.
