Phanuel Muverengwi

Phanuel Muverengwi had always believed that there was no such thing as God - that is until he 'accidentally' attended a church service in Hatfield, Harare, way back in October of 1992. Here is what happened... A close relative asked Phanuel to accompany him to church. Because of the excellent relationship that existed/exists between the two, Phanuel could not turn down the request. So in a sense, Phanuel was dragged to church and attended only as a favour to his relative. Just imagine! As Phanuel sat in church that Sunday, somehow logged off because attending church had not been his idea, something drastic happened to him. God is truly gracious! In a flash, God revealed Himself. It was like Phanuel had been fast asleep, with even his head blanket-covered, totally unaware of what was happening around him. It was like all of a sudden God snatched the blanket, only for Phanuel to realise that the sun had been shining all along! His is now a very long and eventful walk with Jesus.
