1. Could you tell us a little bit about yourself?
Sure. I’m from a small town in Missouri where I live with my husband, my two sons, and two dogs.
2. Describe your book ‘Writing in the Dark’ in 30 words or less.
Writing in the Dark is a collection of short horror stories.
3. What was the hardest part of writing your book?
The hardest part was that I felt I had to repeatedly go back over every story to revise and edit.
4. What books have had the greatest influence on you?
I’m a lover for books by writers/authors who have struggled to make their dreams come true. One who really stood out for me was: Stephen Kings, On Writing.
5. Briefly share with us what you do to market your book?
I self-published because I wanted to get my name out. I have an author profile and a writing sight, along with Amazon that I use to market my book and promote myself as a new writer.
6. How do you spend your time when you are not writing?
I love spending time with my family doing anything and everything.
7. What are you working on next?
I’m currently working on a supernatural thriller novel called, Midnight. It’s a book about a woman who is forced to watch her loved ones suffer a fate worse than death because she refuses to give a demonic vampire her soul.
