Interview

1. Could you tell us a little bit about yourself?

If I were a Pintrest Board, I'd be named "super-cal-afrag-alistic-expiala-do-shus" and such an eclectic collection of pictures would scroll for miles. I am a horse-training, author-advocate, publisher, writing office manager that juggles life, work, and my fantasies side-by-side with the love of my life and our German Shepard dog, Emma.

2. Describe your book ‘Lady Alene and the Widower (Shorts-off #)’ in 30 words or less.

Lady Alene is about letting go of the past--specifically about letting go of a loved one even though it hurts.

3. What was the hardest part of writing your book?

I can't really say there was an easy part or a hard part. The entire story was an emotional experience for me and helped me heal a part of my past.

4. What books have had the greatest influence on you?

Terry Goodkind~Wizards First Rule, Patricia A. Knight~Hers To Command and Paulo Coelho~The Alchemist

5. Briefly share with us what you do to market your book?

I have an entire spreadsheet filled with different tactics on separate tabs, but I've found the most effective thing is:

A. Write good books
B. Repeat step A.

6. How do you spend your time when you are not writing?

What? Not write? Blasphemy!!! Actually, I have to take time out from writing to enjoy my man, my dog and good food.

7. What are you working on next?

I'm working on another installment of the Shorts-off Series, a fantasy novel and a sort of drama fiction I'm not sure how to classify yet.
