Lorraine Florido

Lorraine Florido made her writing debut with
Dezzer the Gasser and went on to write Hugo
the Punk, a humorous chapter book for young
and old punks alike. She is a graduate of Florida
International University and has founded a series of successful businesses with her husband, Hugo Florido.  Currently, Mrs. Florido is Creative Director of Thinkus Publishers, Inc.

Dezzer the Gasser was illustrated by notable Disney Animator from the "Golden Era", John Ewing, who helped craft classics including: The Original Jungle Book, Sleeping Beauty, The Sword and the Stone, and Winnie the Pooh.

 The proceeds of her first published book, Dezzer the Gasser,
will go toward creating scholarships for children of breast cancer
victims.
