1. Could you tell us a little bit about yourself?
I was born and raised on the North Coast in Jamaica. I currently live in the South Florida area with my children. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading and writing.
2. Describe your book Winnie: The Beginning (Volume 1) in 30 words or less.
Winnie, is about the struggles that a family face in Jamaica, but with great ambitions and a family’s dedication , they are able to rise above their challenges. It also shows some of the country’s roots and cultures. It is at times funny, but is very relatable especially to people that grew up in the Caribbean/Islands.
3. What was the hardest part of writing your book?
Time. I have a full time job, and being a single mom, it doesn’t leave a lot of time for other things.
4. What books have had the greatest influence on you?

5. Briefly share with us what you do to market your book?
Currently only using social media. I plan in the near future of doing a media launch, getting involved with libraries, and schools especially in Jamaica, and I will also be doing a book signing.

7. What are you working on next?
Winnie, The Beginning is part 1 of a four part series. I am working on completing the other parts.
