Prayers are our connection between us and our Creator. And when we recieve an answer so vividly, a total essence glows with His love.
This fictional story came to me in a matter of moments. It took over my mind until I could do nothing else but write it on paper. In one day I had the entire out-line and all thirty character listed. The first rough cut chapter was done and I was beaming, to say the least.
My goal at this point is to share this story of hope, love, and trust with others.

Interview

Could you tell us a little bit about yourself?

Foremost, I am a born again follower of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

As a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, I strive to encourage all things for good. To love and learn, forgive and not judge, are the stepping stones to walk each and everyday.

I am a dreamer, that which drives me to vividly see what I write. I play each characters part in my quiet little space, in a world surrounded by every detail I can possibly imagine. My wall crumble, my desk disappears, and I get up out of my chair into the present scene before me.

The music in the story, I played over and over again. And one day I would love to see this story on film, just to see how close it would be to what I pictured. In the meanwhile, it will be available for all to read and enjoy.

I look forward into sharing your experience, so please write me a note when you have finished your walk with Becky.

God bless, Karen

Describe your book ‘Wholesome Hopes, Becky's Prayers’ in 30 words or less.

To put this vibrant story in a nutshell; silly, fun, romantic, sad, hilarious, relating, inspiring, loving, sharing, forgiving, hoping, and trusting.

What was the hardest part of writing your book?

Over the seven years it took to complete, the most difficult part for me was to end the story.

One reader sent me a note asking if there would be a sequel, because she wanted to know the story would go on with the family. It could very well be in the making.

What books have had the greatest influence on you?

The Bible with all its inspiring adventures, Little Women, Emma, The Ripple Effect, Angel's At Large, and most recently, The Shack, to name just a few.

Briefly share with us what you do to market your book?

My marketing strategy until now was postings on facebook, twitter, my website and talking to everyone I met. Today with the amazing help and expertise from Bookbuzzr, I plan to see a world of readers and fans in the nearest future.

What are you working on next?

With several stories I am working on, I do believe my next project to complete will be a children's book with watercolor drawing. This was inspired by my grandchildren.
