1. Could you tell us a little bit about yourself?
I was born and raised in a small town in Alabama, and currently reside in the panhandle of Florida with my husband. I have one son, who is grown and now has a beautiful family of his own. I first became a published author about a year ago. Writing has proven itself to be an exciting and rewarding experience. It's always been an interest of mine, but up until fairly recently I never had the time to put into it.
2. Describe your book ‘Winter's Touch’ in 30 words or less.
It's the first in a series of paranormal romance/suspense novels revolving around a diverse group of vampires. Winter's Touch begins the journey with Julian Winter's story.
3. What was the hardest part of writing your book?
Forcing myself to focus. I get distracted very...hey, look - Big Bang Theory is on! Wait...what were we talking about again?
4. What books have had the greatest influence on you?
I grew up with the works of Judy Blume and Beverly Cleary, so I'd have to credit those talented authors with instilling in me a love for reading at an early age. But there are countless others.
5. Briefly share with us what you do to market your book?
Social media. I also have an upcoming blog tour scheduled.
6. How do you spend your time when you are not writing?
I try to spend as much time as possible with family, and I also like to read, swim and occasionally go snorkeling in the Gulf of Mexico with my son. I'm also a music junkie.
7. What are you working on next?
I just released the second book in the Immortal Touch series, Fire and Ash, and plan to begin working on the third installment which is as of yet untitled.
