I've been writing books for as long as I can remember. The first one was about a French family, aptly named the "Groin Family". It took my parents 30 minutes of laughing and wheezing to explain to me what "groin" meant, and I threw it away in tortured pain. How dare they crush my dreams?
I was the youngest of three kids, and the only girl, which perpetuated my need for drama, and cultivated a highly over-active imagination. Fortunately for the world, I've learned to curb that habit (most of the time) for good and not evil. Writing books helps--there's always a need for drama in adult and YA romance.
I'm all grown up now, and a very lucky chick to have a man like my nerdy husband to support me. He is kind, patient, witty, and annoyingly more intelligent than me. Our four children are wonderfully sarcastic, and tend to have dirty faces and wicked grins.
When I'm not writing, I enjoy Pina Coladas and getting caught in the rain.
Ok, that's a lie. I actually don't drink, but enjoy a mean virgin mojito; live for Top Chef to be on television; never have the same hair color for more than a few months; have a strange obsession with tacky, retro owl decor.
Just your typical housewife...writing fiction laced with whimsy, humor & heart for adults and teens.
