J. K. Miller II

Hello all! J. K. Miller II here! I was born in the Golden State (California, in case you didn't know. Go 49ers!), and if I could go back without having to file for bankrupcy, I would. I loved the weather, and the Pacific is SO much clearer, even though it's colder, than the Atlantic.

I lived my childhood with the military. My mother was in the Air Force, which gave me the rare opportunity to travel abroad. I lived in The Netherlands throughout high school and visited everywhere from Poland to Tunisia and even over to Japan. Yes, they do have brownies in Amsterdam, and the Red Light District does exist. Yes, Paris is one of the most romantic places to visit. Yes, Big Ben is REEEALLY big.

I am an author. I write fantasy and mystery. A few of my short stories have been published by various presses and internet sites (short-story.me and Wicked East Press to name a couple). My first novel, Reborn, was published in March 2012 by Black Rose Writing. Most of my works are posted on my website. Some of them are sitting in a folder waiting to be finished or revised, or they just weren't good enough to make it. I try to keep them all. When I'm not writing, I'm singing or indulging in the ocassional video game with my friends (just saying, Mass Effect 3 is the best RPG/Action Shooter out there right now). I LOVE Starbucks. Yes, I'm a Gold Member and the baristas know me by name AND drink (even my seasonal winter drink. Pumpkin Spice Chai Tea Latte = pumpkin pie in a cup. Mmmm!).
