TaMara Campbell

TaMara, a certified sex therapist, counselor and educator, has more than 20 years experience of counseling, coaching, speaking, writing and teaching about human sexuality, including HIV/AIDS and other STIs, across the country. She also has extensive experience working within the faith-based communities providing human sexuality education and coaching. TaMara also is a repeat guest lecturer for the University of Michigan Flint, Let’s Talk About Sex UNV 100 Freshman course. TaMara also served as a sexuality consultant for the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. She is also the host of her our radio show; SEXcetera with TaMara.

A published author, TaMara has developed four successful curriculum designed to empower women and youth with the skills and knowledge necessary to make safer and healthier decisions. She has also written two erotica poetry books: Love....The eXperience and Butterflies, Dandelions & Shard Glass. TaMara currently is the National Human Sexuality Examiner, Sexual Health Examiner for Baltimore, Maryland. She also writes sexual health articles for the Courageous Woman Magazine and Oh!Boudoir Photography -The Sexy Chronicles by TaMara and many other social media websites.  TaMara has also served as the lead author for the HIV/AIDS Manual for Faith Communities which was developed inconjunction with the National Coalition of Pastors Spouses and the Unites States Department of Health and Human Services. You may  also find her published case study on the YOUR Blessed Health Project, An HIV Model for Faith Based Communities in the textbook Social Work in Health Settings. TaMara was also the adolescent sexuality consultant for the Center for Disease Control Evidence Based Intervention SHILE.

TaMara has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Family Life Education (Spring Arbor University) and a Master of Science degree in Education with a specialization in the Art of Teaching (Johns Hopkins University).  She is will be granted a Master of Social Work Degree from the University of Michigan in Dec 2013
