The book is worth a quick read and the best part is that it is currently available free. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.smashwords.com\/books\/download\/145431\/1\/latest\/0\/0\/the-secrets-to-ebook-publishing-success.pdf\">Download the PDF version here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/online.wsj.com\/article\/SB10001424052702303916904577375502392129654.html?mod=djemTECH_t\">Microsoft has committed to invest 605 Million dollars <\/a>in Barnes and Noble&#8217;s Nook venture in a bid to capture a share of the fast growing ebook (and Amazon Kindle) market.<\/li>\n<li>Fantasy writer Ed Robertson has been comparing the Amazon Kindle ranks of &#8221; tons and tons of different books on different browsers&#8221; to fathom the mind of Amazon&#8217;s algorithm. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.edwardwrobertson.com\/2012\/05\/amazons-ever-changing-algorithms-kindle.html\">His initial discoveries<\/a> led him to believe that Amazon maintained 3 different versions of a given list. In a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.edwardwrobertson.com\/2012\/05\/amazons-ever-changing-algorithms-part-2.html\">subsequent blog post<\/a>, Ed draws the conclusion that even though there is just one list, Amazon&#8217;s algorithm is now weighting free sales differently than before causing the end of the &#8220;3-day-post- free-promotion-sales-bump&#8221;.
