Description

The Noah sisters rule Titan High with their beauty, brains, and magical powers.

Every year the girls play a secret game they call Crushed.  They each pick a boy and blow magical dust into his face, enchanting him. Then they give the boys commands. The witch's power grows with each task completed.  They have to be careful not to push too hard or the spell will break.  Kristen has won three years in a row, but this is the most important year, senior year.

Then Kristen blows it by enchanting the wrong boy.  Zach Bevian has secrets darker than her own, and she almost dies the same day that she blows the dust into his face. Coincidence?  Doubtful.

Now she has to figure out if Zach is trying to save her or trying to kill her.

My agent at Trident Media Group could not find a home for my vampire book, Vampires Rule, so she told me to find something new that no one else had written about, hard to do when it comes to paranormal these days. The idea of witches playing games at school came to mind. So I wrote it.

Crushed is the second book I’ve read by author K.C. Blake, and I’ve come to love her writing. She puts just the right amount or humor, drama, and action in, with a beautiful paranormal storyline and strong plot. Breathtaking romances. Yes, have to have romance. I enjoy and love each of her characters. She gives them so much personality and each one is clear in their own identity. They pull me right into the story. I also love the way K.C. writes from the guy and girl POV. This always makes for a deeper romance. K.C. Blake is an Awesome writer!

I really enjoyed this book cause of the mixture of witches and mean girls. I loved the idea of mean girls playing games and abusing their powers. The way thew gang up on the little sister and shut her down. This book lived up to my every expectation of it. I'm really excited to get into the next book!

The Noah sisters have this game they play. It’s called Crushed. They blow magical dust into a boy’s face and then that boy follows them around like a puppy doing their bidding and falling in love with them. Ha! I love this!

The girls have had great success with Crushed in the past, but something goes wrong this time around. When Kristen Crushes Zach, he doesn’t act like the other Crush boys. Instead, Zach can break Kristen’s commands and he alternates between falling for her and hating her. Whoa!

The Noah sisters are an interesting bunch. Kristen starts out being very obsessed with popularity, but she becomes less self-absorbed. Thank goodness. Brittany is moody and she dresses in goth style. And then there’s the peacekeeper, Cindy. I like that each girl has her own style and personality. These girls are certainly not one-dimensional.

Zach’s odd behavior had me baffled and I was surprised by what was causing all the drama. Oh, I did NOT see this one coming at all. I love when that happens.

Crushed is an entertaining and light story that I enjoyed. A cute premise and an intriguing plot make for a fantastic story.
