Madame Poulet and Monsieur Roach live in a lovely home and agree to share their responsibilities. Everyday Madame Poulet dutifully works for their food, and she doesn't mind taking care of Monseiur Roach when he becomes ill. She doesn't mind at first, that is.
Soon she realizes that her friend has been fooling her all along. While the industrious chicken was working her tail off, the rascally roach was spending his days singing and partying with his friends!
