I'm an Author and single mum of three living in Central Switzerland. I have written two non-fiction books and am about to embark on my first novel.
My first two books are auto-biographical, and describe how it is to get involved with a disordered personality. I wanted to share my story in order to help other people who are going through, or have been through, similar. I hope my first two books can help to educate people and help them see they are not alone.
I've always loved writing, and I write lots of poetry. I'm looking forward to beginning my first novel, which will be a psychological thriller.
When I'm not parenting and writing, I work in the Aerospace business.

A tragic warrior lost in two worlds... Which one will he choose?

The war in Iraq ended for Freddie when an IED explosion left his mind and body shattered. Once a skilled gamer as well as a capable soldier, he's now a broken warrior, emerging from a medically induced coma to discover he's inhabiting two separate realities.

The first is his waking world of pain, family trials, and remorse—and slow rehabilitation through the tender care of Becky, his physical therapist. The second is a dark fantasy realm of quests, demons, and magic, which Freddie enters when he sleeps. The lines soon blur for Freddie, not just caught between two worlds, but lost within himself.

Is he Lieutenant Freddie Williams, a leader of men, a proud officer in the US Army who has suffered such egregious injury and loss? Or is he Frederick, Prince of Stormwind, who must make sense of his horrific visions in order to save his embattled kingdom from the monstrous Horde, his only solace the beautiful gardener, Rebecca, whose gentle words calm the storms in his soul.

In the conscious world, the severely wounded vet faces a strangely similar and equally perilous mission to that of the prince—a journey along a dark road, haunted by demons of guilt and memory. Can he let patient, loving Becky into his damaged and shuttered heart? It may be his only way back from Hell.

The book is a true story of how to recognise emotional abuse and escape from the spiders web.
New author Sarah Tate brings a tale of domestic horror to the table with her first book, Web of Lies. Not a story of wife beating, but one of an abuse that is, perhaps, even more insidious, even more shocking.
Unputdownable, the book tells of the effects of becoming involved with a man who is a narcissist. At first charming and romantic, Bill woos the young Sarah with a courtship beyond her wildest dreams, but after she agrees to marry him, his true nature and extreme narcissism begins to show, resulting in an unstoppable chain of disasters that leave Sarah and her children struggling to survive.
If you've never heard of Narcissistic Syndrome, read this book. If you identify with the plight of a young wife and mother, stuck in an intolerable situation, read this book. If you want to pick up a book that will keep you reading deep into the night and won't let go until you have turned the very last page...read this book.Joanna W-Simm

My Life With A Narcissist is the true story of Sarah Tate, a young intelligent woman visiting Switzerland. She met Bill, an older more experienced man who romanced her, lavished her with expensive gifts and dinners to exclusive spas, and swept her off her feet. She had no idea Bill had a Narcissistic Personality.

People with this disorder appear trustworthy and usually paint everything as a rosy picture. They usually relate to people of a higher stature, and ordinary people are out of their reach. They place themselves on a pedestal and expect special treatment and praise. Sarah lived with him for six years and only once saw the real Bill. A chain of disasters brought his mental disorder to light leaving Sarah to care for her children. How she copes and keeps a sane mind demonstrates her courage in an impossible situation.

This is a gripping story that kept me reading to the very end. Watching Bill destroy Sarah and their children's life was shocking. Everyone should be required to read this book. Most people have never heard of NPD. We should educate ourselves so that we never go through what Sarah did. Excellent reading. Readers Favourites
