Liz Sanquiche is a native New Yorker, sculptor, poet and artist. Known as "Brikhaus" to close friends and family. Yes, Brick house as in the song.
She has lived in Puerto Rico, Oklahoma, Guam, South Carolina, New York and currently lives in Atlanta.  A former retail store manager with twenty years in the industry, she left this part of her life behind to follow her true love, creativity. My life lesson? "It's never to late to follow your heart." My life goal? To fuel my soul and be Me at full volume!"

<p>Countless years ago, measured in thousands, the Gods came first. Monstrous creations were born of their frivolity. Like the Gods, some of the creations were peaceful, others not. Their duty to preserve the earth completed once more, however, the day came that the Gods had to leave earth. Unleashed and with loose regulation, the abominable creations left behind multiplied. In their midst, another conception came to be, and his kind would exist absolutely outside of the God’s purview.<br />Unmated, alone, and untrusting of others, Chatran was charged to go to a place and protect the father of a great child, yet unborn. This duty, however, was unknown to the most cognizant part of Chatran. Only the Beast, who resided within him, knew. As a result, the Beast led Chatran to Walhalla, North Dakota. Although his initial charge was to protect the father he found there, Chatran also gained a mate and Pack. With them, Chatran also found a new way forward, and started on a course that would lead to – New Alpha Rising: Ascension.</p>

Story Behind The Book

This is a collection of short stories containing a single female protagonist and her quest for sex, passion, and love. An artistic soul... She had many outlets to nurture her talents but could not seem to get motivated to do any of them... Except that her sexual desires consumed her life, lacking fulfillment... She had no release... She was not ready to be with others yet... She had her reasons... Until one day she received a message from him that was sexual in nature... Expressing his desires, his curiosity of what it would be like... She was excited... He gave her knots in her stomach... It made her feel like a teenager again... Something about him created a spark... She was drawn to him by this energy... Somehow a connection was made between them... A mutual sexual attraction... He inspired her in so many ways... He made her feel beautiful, desirable, sexy and naughty... She became bolder in expressing herself... Thus came to fruition... The written hand of Caramel Butta Pecan... The stories, the daydreaming, the imagination, the experiences, and the what if's... A way to fulfill her desire and satiate a ravenous appetite until the time and opportunity came to her... She'll know when the time is right... And, she may share that story with you... or not...

I was initially afraid it would leap into trashy, as so many others disappointingly do. After reading the synopsis though, I couldn't help but want to learn more about the road traveled by the protagonist.<br />The idea of short stories as opposed to a novel makes it great to pick up and put down whenever given an opportunity to do some light reading.<br />Enjoying this text was just as effortless as Sanquiche's writing.
