Doug Christi was born and raised in Deer Lodge, Montana. He isa member of the Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers and has written articles, workedas a staff writer for the Silver StatePost and written over thirty-five short stories. The Conjurer is Doug’sfirst novel and the literary debut of U.S. Marshal Cameron Piquet, whoseadventure-filled life, Doug plans to explore through a series of future novels.Doug has a long list of favorite writers, but has been most influenced by:Edgar Alan Poe, John Steinbeck, Stephen King, and John Connolly When he is notwriting, Doug enjoys coaching youth sports, restoring and repairingautomobiles, mountain-biking, photography and the outdoors. He lives in DeerLodge with his wife and best friend, Jan.
