Anna Tenezi wasborn in Xanthi, Greece.After she finished high school, went to Thessalonica and studied Philosophy, Psychology,Greek Literature, and Art history at Aristotle University of Thessalonica.

After finishing her studies, wentto Cyprus, where worked as a Greek Language and Literature teacher in secondaryand high schools for almost thirty years.

She married and had towdaughters.

Meanwhile she wrote severalbooks as:

Novels:

1) ‘The light that kills’ (1st editionSelf-published, Nicosia-Cyprus, 1982. 2nd edition Diodos Publishing,Athens-Greece, 1984).

2) ‘As you are leaving me’(1st editionSelf-published, Nicosia-Cyprus, 1985. 2nd edition Ranis Editions,Limassol-Cyprus, 2006).

For this book she was awardedwith the NovelAward by the Cyprus Ministry of Education and Culture.
