About

I am a retired English teacher who got hooked on detective novels when I was an adolescent. Later on, I began writing my own detective novels, completing nine of them and all of them featuring a hard-boiled, unscrupulous character by the name of Brett Cornell.
The novels are written in a tongue-in-cheek style, told from Brett's own point of view, and are meant to be somewhat humorous, although overly sensitive readers may be offended by some of Brett's outrageous attitudes and behavior.
So, please try not to take him too seriously.
(That's not a picture of me, although I wish it were!)
