Now the Blessed Lands are ruled by pure faith, while in the Republic, reason is the guiding light—two different realms, kept apart and at peace by a treaty and an ocean.</em><br style="color:rgb(24,24,24);font-family:Georgia, serif;font-size:13.63636302947998px;line-height:17.563634872436523px;" /><br style="color:rgb(24,24,24);font-family:Georgia, serif;font-size:13.63636302947998px;line-height:17.563634872436523px;" /><span style="color:rgb(24,24,24);font-family:Georgia, serif;font-size:13.63636302947998px;line-height:17.563634872436523px;">Children of the Republic, Helena and Jason were inseparable in their youth, until fate sent them down different paths. You walk away from this book feeling as if you have gone through these hellish experiences yourself.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family:Arial, 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14px;">It is simple for an author to suck you into a heart warming moment of joy, love and smiles, we want to feel that way. We will go willingly down that kind of a road an author leads you down. However it is considerably harder for an author to make a reader empathize with feelings of betrayal, heartache and loneliness in quite the eloquent way Lazarus Infinity has managed in Exodus.</span><br style="font-family:Arial, 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14px;" /><span style="font-family:Arial, 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14px;">I absobuythisbooklutely could not put it down! My prediction is that this will be the last time you will be able to get a novel by Lazarus for less than 4 dollars!!!</span></p> <p>-Shana Garcia</p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:Arial, 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14px;">Jacob Forlorn is a character you will never forget. This is a story of a man who falls in love, who is then abandoned and betrayed and then goes through what might be the worst self-destruction I have ever read. It rips your heart out and makes you want to ease his pain in some way.</span><br style="font-family:Arial, 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14px;" /><br style="font-family:Arial, 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14px;" /><span style="font-family:Arial, 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14px;">This author writes in a way that hits your heart. He is descriptive and you can close your eyes and imagine yourself in the scene. Good luck putting this book down once you start. I spent two very late nights trying to find a stopping point so I could go to sleep. It’s just a book you need to know how it ends.</span></p> <p>-Andrea Emilien</p>
