Description

In 1066, the rivalry between two brothers brought England to its knees. When Duke William of Normandy landed at Pevensey on September 28, 1066, no one was there to resist him. King Harold Godwineson was in the north, fighting his brother Tostig and a fierce Viking invasion. How could this have happened? Why would Tostig turn traitor to wreak revenge on his brother?
The Sons of Godwine were not always enemies. It took a massive Northumbrian uprising to tear them apart, making Tostig an exile and Harold his sworn enemy. And when 1066 came to an end, all the Godwinesons were dead except one: Wulfnoth, hostage in Normandy. For two generations, Godwine and his sons were a mighty force, but their power faded away as the Anglo-Saxon era came to a close.

Lissa is realistic in all her actions, even down to being a klutz and trying to accept compliments. I love her spunk, to go on with life no matter what she faces... Jessica Coulter Smith pens a story where I sat in anticipation of the outcome of Lissa, Jesse, and Jared. It was a pin and needles, on-edge, page-turner for me."
Cherokee, Coffee Time Romance
Rating: 4 cups

Manic Readers
"Jessica Coulter Smith delivers an intriguing paranormal novel with twists and turns that will keep you guessing and with the thought of getting a wonderful happily ever after."
rating: 3.5 out of 5

Diana, Night Owl Romance
"Ms. Coulter-Smith did a marvelous job interweaving twist and turns to keep her readers turning the pages and she created characters that were believable.
