Writing is a wonder-filled world I love to immerse myself in every chance I get. I'm thrilled to share the experience one story at a time.
Western romance is my favorite genre, so naturally 'Comanche Haven #1' is my first in 'The Loflin Legacy series with 'Casey's Gunslinger #2 releasing in March 2014.
The Western Werewolf Legend series mixes paranormal romance with history and the wild west. It's an action packed surprise one book after the next. There's 'The Lady in the Mist, followed by 'Waking Up Dead' and finally, 'Wolfen Secrets' complete the trio.
I hope you'll join me in my journey of steamy romance, struggle and discovery as I paint pictures in history. Thanks for dropping by!

Richard II found himself under siege not once, but twice in his minority. Crowned king at age ten, he was only fourteen when the Peasants' Revolt terrorized London. But he proved himself every bit the Plantagenet successor, facing Wat Tyler and the rebels when all seemed lost. Alas, his triumph was short-lived, and for the next ten years he struggled to assert himself against his uncles and increasingly hostile nobles. Just like in the days of his great-grandfather Edward II, vengeful magnates strove to separate him from his friends and advisors, and even threatened to depose him if he refused to do their bidding. The Lords Appellant, as they came to be known, purged the royal household with the help of the Merciless Parliament. They murdered his closest allies, leaving the King alone and defenseless. He would never forget his humiliation at the hands of his subjects. Richard's inability to protect his adherents would haunt him for the rest of his life, and he vowed that next time, retribution would be his.
B.R.A.G. The sample of Comanche Haven includes three chapters of the complete book. Enjoy the story of star crossed lovers, Celia, the half-breed Comanche and Seth Loflin, Rancher and ex-army lieutenant, who meet after twelve years. The town they knew hasn't changed much, but they have. What will they do when confronted by the same prejudice that has flourished since they last held each other?

Celia is strong, proud and willful, which gets her into trouble alot. And Seth reminds me of a rugged cowboy, steadfast in doing what is right. The tension and mistrust sparks between these two and I enjoyed the way the writer leads them into each other's arms. The conflict around them keeps the story moving at a fast pace. Loved the ending! Can't wait for more in this series!" A Larkin

"Really enjoyed this book and loved the period setting. Quite a typical first outlook; boy meets girl, but it wasn't a typical romance, with race factors and peril thrown in too. Loflin is a strong wilfull man's man and Celia is a mixed race Indian woman with beauty and brains together they make a formidable team. the story was strong all the way through and let me wanting more." mrs C

Review by: Shelly Antilley-Guevara on July 18, 2012 :
Overall, this book was very good. A secret love between a cowboy and indian girl. Years later they meet again. She was his first love, can he really forget her and go on? Is set in a time where white man and indians are at war with each other. When tragedy strikes where will it take them. I am going to have to check out more by this author and read the full book!! Celia and Seth have a history. Sparks fly when Celia returns to Tyler, Texas to care for her ailing father. There is mystery and a bubbling heat in this sample. I can't wait to read the entire book!
