Simon is the Author of the inspiring and motivational book, “Be Inspired. You Can Fulfil Your Dream” a book that encourages you to rise above your challenges in order to achieve your set goals.  As a Motivational Speaker, Simon has spoken at many events organised by the Hillingdon Race Equality Council, the Victoria Climbie Foundation, the United Anglo-Caribbean Society and also at the Aberystwyth University among many others. His speaking engagements have taken him as far as Manchester and Wales.

Simon is also a motivational speaker passionate about inspiring and motivating people to rise above their challenges in order to achieve their set goals.

As a Prison Custody Officer, Simon has previously worked with Women Prisoners in a Detention Centre for women offenders. His direct contact with women and working with women offenders on a regular basis has given him a great insight and a wealth of experience into issues that affect women such as Drug Addiction and Misuse, emotional issues such as anger, stress, worry and anxiety. Others are, personality issues such as self-esteem, and self-confidence. There are also family issues such as domestic violence and bereavement, societal issues such as gender discrimination, harassment, peer pressure and also the challenges that women face such as the challenges of being a single mother, the challenge of being in prison, separation from their children and loved ones, dealing with feelings of guilt, and self-harm among many others.

As a volunteer worker, Simon has also worked with Victim Support providing emotional and practical support to victims of crime.  He has also been involved in voluntary work with Barnardo’s a Children’s Charity. He was involved with the “Baby Father” initiative, a project that sought to encourage “absent fathers” to become more involved with their children.  He has also worked with Teen Challenge, a charity committed to helping drug addicts beat their addiction.

As an outstanding speaker, Simon is passionate about helping people to overcome barriers in order to reach their set goals, motivating and inspiring them to achieve the success, they desire and deserve.

<p style="margin:0in 0in 10pt;" class="MsoNormal"><span style="line-height:115%;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;font-size:12pt;">Elisabeth was rude and selfish and demanding, and therefore had very few friends.<span>  </span>When she sent out invitations to her birthday party, no one accepted.<span>  </span>Her mother warned her that she needed to improve her manners and to try to get along with people.<span>  </span>She told Elisabeth that she needed to use the magic word “Please”.<span>  </span>So when Elisabeth went to school the next day, she thought of her mother’s advice, “What is the magic word?” and she started saying “Please” and also “Thank You”.<span>  </span>She tried to become more thoughtful of others, and discovered that she was a much happier person.<span>  </span>Imagine her pleasure when she returned home to find out that her new friends were all coming to her birthday party!</span><span style="line-height:115%;font-family:Arial, 'sans-serif';font-size:10pt;"></span></p><p></p>
