Story Behind The Book

At the end of the Nigerian civil war, there was an emergence of writers who wrote poems on the subject of war and remembrance. I started writing poems too on the civil war which form part of this book. In the seventies when I went through university and national service, I found myself writing poems for the women I loved and my relationships in general. There are also poems on political issues, hopes and disillusionment. The collection is a poetic perspective on my life over a period of three decades.
