Brietta Tatro spent the first half of her youth in sunny southern California and the second half in rainy Washington state, where she currently lives with her husband, two children and an assortment of broken umbrellas. As a child, she always gravitated toward tales of the fantastical and when she stumbled upon D'Aulaires' Book of Greek Myths at the library, she was smitten for life. Brietta has a degree in History from the University of Washington and a passion for reading, writing and travel. Echo in the Underworld is her first book.

Story Behind The Book
What began as a creative outlet during the intense early years of motherhood eventually evolved into the epic quest "Echo in the Underworld." After five years of writing and editing, this young adult fantasy novel finally saw the light of day on Amazon in January 2013!
