Reviews

~~"Publius: Libertas Aut Mors" is a fascinating read that is incredibly relevant to both national and international events, particularly events related to national security. Bolado did a great job putting the reader into the story line from page 1 and there were many gripping moments. The short chapters made it hard to put down and easier to read. I really liked the quotes at the beginning of each chapter; however, they also slowed down the pace of the story. I found myself reflecting on the quotes and losing momentum in the plot line. Additionally, there were a lot of twists and turns in the plot and it was occasionally difficult to follow the character arc but it eventually comes together when you keep reading. Overall, the book was super interesting, full of moments that made you think more deeply about current events, and quite a thriller.

Amazon reviewer

~~I really enjoyed this book. The character development was amazing and I loved the way it was all wrapped up in the end. The message was also really strong and relevant for today. I also really enjoyed the author's writing style, the descriptions were very vivid (and quotable!) and the short chapters kept me interested. Overall I would recommend this book to a friend, with a warning that it takes some time to figure out what exactly is going on!

Amazon reviewer

~~This was a really interesting, twisting thriller, where you never really know who to trust. There were a lot of moving parts to this story, many characters, so it took me a few chapters to get a grasp on the whole story, but once I really got going this proved to be a pretty intriguing story. I liked how I was kept in the dark on who to trust, and the plot was constantly surprising me.

Amazon reviewer
