So glad I did!<br /><br /> I found the initial few chapters a bit tough going (time seemed to pass quite quickly in a few short pages) but as I read on I found it almost palpable as to when the author found his stride and it really comes across that he genuinely enjoyed the subject material he was writing about. The mortal characters are believable, just as the denizens of Hell are terrifying to picture in the minds eye.<br /><br /> The descriptions are great at painting a picture while very rarely breaking the pathos of the story (I found the interpretation of the Devil particularly intriguing) and the main plot twist is so shocking and unexpected I had to re-read it to make sure I actually grasped the situation fully!<br /><br /> Overall, this was a fantastic read and I can honestly say that if the next books are anything like this, then this may well be one of the best series I have read in a very long time. This thoroughly deserves it's five stars!</div> </div> </div> <div class="a-section celwidget"> <div class="a-row a-spacing-micro"> <div class="a-icon-row a-spacing-none"><a class="a-link-normal a-text-normal a-color-base" href="http://www.amazon.co.uk/review/R1HBZ96AECFDF/ref=cm_cr_dp_title?ie=UTF8&ASIN=0992688906&channel=detail-glance&nodeID=266239&store=books"><span class="a-size-base a-text-bold">Omg amazing!</span></a></div> <span class="a-color-secondary"><span class="a-size-normal"><span class="a-color-secondary">By </span> <a class="noTextDecoration" href="http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/pdp/profile/A32GJGCRYWVN23/ref=cm_cr_dp_pdp">Natalie Sarah Toms</a> </span> <span class="a-color-secondary"> on 19 April 2014</span></span></div> <div class="a-row a-spacing-small"><span class="a-size-mini a-color-secondary">Format: Kindle Edition</span><span class="a-size-mini a-color-state a-text-bold"> Verified Purchase </span> <div class="a-section">I found out last year that a friend was publishing these books but didn't think much about it. but omg Dom you've done it!!!
