Story Behind The Book

Shortly after my dad passed away, my mom asked if I'd like to read the letters he wrote her during WW2. I didn't know these letters existed, and was captivated reading them. They inspired me to write this book, which includes many excerpts from his letters. This book chronicles my parents' courtship during the war years, and the many difficult obstacles they faced both personally as well as from the war. It also includes my dad's perspective on serving in Europe as a photo interpreter in the 3rd Army under General Patton. I came to appreciate how he overcame so many mountains to finally marry my mother, and realize even more what remarkable man he was. I hope you too will be inspired by this story.
