Witty, well written and packed with great information regarding our Combat Veterans suffering from PTSD.<br /><br /> I would recommend this book to anyone in a relationship with a Combat Veteran. Honestly, I would recommend the book to anyone suffering from PTSD or in a relationship with someone suffering from PTSD. It's not an easy subject to discuss, but this book is well written and it can open up dialogue making it easier for the two of you to discuss specific issues you're having in your relationship.<br /><br /> PTSD is terrifying and it's not something anyone can easily explain. Leilani writes clearly how to live in the present and be open to changes that allow you to both reap the benefits. I love how she includes how to make the right decisions for you and your relationship, every person and every relationship is different and it's important to keep that in mind.<br /><br /> Not to mention, Leilani's work for Veterans is truly inspiring. Again, I love this book and find it important to write and speak out about Veterans and what they're going through as they come home and try to immurse themselves back into everyday life. This book gives us a peek inside their lives when they come home and a better way for us to support them in our relationships - which is SO IMPORTANT.<br /><br /> I hope this gem finds its way into the homes of many, and I hope it allows people to speak out openly with what they're going through.
