Maya is a marketing consultant who works with startups and Fortune 500 companies to help them build high-performing marketing teams. Earlier in her career, she was the VP of Marketing at Colu, a Fintech startup that delivers mobile payment solutions. Before that, she led Product Marketing at Microsoft and was the Head of Digital Marketing at SodaStream, a consumer goods company that was acquired for $3.2 billion dollars. Previously, Maya was an executive director at an award-winning PR and Social Media agency.

Throughout her 15-year career, Maya was able to work for companies like Microsoft and Google, receive multiple promotions and raises, and strategically level up from an individual contributor to a VP. The experiences and the insights Maya gained led her to write this book because she believes that everyone can benefit from developing an invaluable mindset—especially people who are earlier in their career and need the tools for success.
