Brooke Brown

About

Brooke Brown is an inspirational Christian author, speaker, storyteller, and advocate who describes herself as “an ink weaver of life, faith and fiction.” Through her writing, ministry, workshops, podcasting, and public speaking, Brooke shares stories that bring glory to God, inspire hope, and help others discover the purpose within their own experiences. An honors graduate of the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University, Brooke is also Ms. Wheelchair Arizona 2022, the Arizona State Coordinator for Ms. Wheelchair America, and the founder of Brooke’s Butterfly Touch: Creative Storytelling Services. Her ministry is dedicated to helping individuals give voice to their personal stories in ways that encourage healing, acceptance, understanding, and new opportunities. Living with cerebral palsy, Brooke uses her personal journey to encourage others facing life’s most profound challenges. Although she is fully able to speak, the spasticity in her muscles makes her natural speech more difficult to understand, so she often uses an augmentative communication app on her phone. Her courage, faith, and creativity shine through her work, making her voice a powerful source of encouragement for readers seeking inspirational memoirs, Christian memoirs, and books for disabled individuals and families. Brooke’s books, including *Adapt: Discover God’s Purpose for Your Gifts and Limitations*, *The Little Butterfly Girl*, and *Transforming the Heart of YOUR Story*, reflect her belief that every life has meaning, every limitation can be used by God, and every story has the power to inspire others. Through faith-centered storytelling, she invites readers to see their struggles not as barriers, but as part of a greater purpose.

Story Behind The Book

Transforming the Heart of YOUR Story* was created from my deep belief that every person has a story with purpose. Through my own journey of faith, disability, writing, and ministry, I have learned that our experiences—especially the painful, difficult, or misunderstood ones—can become powerful tools for encouraging others when we find the courage to give them a voice. Many people feel a desire to share their testimony or life experiences but do not know where to begin. They may wonder which parts matter, how to organize their thoughts, or whether their story could truly help someone else. This workbook was written to guide them through that process with thoughtful questions, writing prompts, and space for reflection. The heart behind this book is to help readers see that their experiences are not random or wasted. God can use every season, struggle, lesson, and victory to bring hope, understanding, and compassion to others. My hope is that this workbook gives people the confidence to discover the deeper meaning in their own journey and transform their story into something that can bless and encourage their chosen audience.
