About

I live in the Pacific Northwest with my two cats and enjoy living close by to my daughter, son-in-law and three grandchildren. I love the beauty of this area - a beauty that wouldn't be possible without all the rain that falls in this part of the country!

I have been writing since I was a teenager and have a tremendous appreciation for the power of words and language. 'Sacred Grief" explores the impact of language on our relationship to grief and suffering. I wanted to write a book that would bring comfort to others and reduce the suffering we sometimes add to an already difficult situation that isn't necessarily a part of the natural grief or healing process. It's taken me a long time to learn how to pause long enough to respect and show interest in everything that occurs in my life. It isn't always comfortable, but it's definitely more peaceful when I work with, rather than resist emotional pain and the more difficult situations in my life. II hope that 'Sacred Grief' brings comfort and peace to it's readers, and supports them in living full and satisfying lives - even when things are challenging..
