About

I am John Daniel Thompson-Ward born in the year 1968 in the great country of the United States of America. I currently live in beautiful Canada. I just passed my forty plus one birthday. I have lived in 3 different states and 7 different provinces of Canada and 21 different cities. I have been in Canada since 1983, my parents moved to Nova Scotia to teach in a private school there. We proceeded to move across Canada from there. Just after my 17th birthday I left home and went to live with my uncle in Ontario. I stayed there for a bit and moved back to Nova Scotia. I had to leave there to go take care of my parents in Saskatchewan because they had gotten into a automobile collision. I had only been away from home for 7 months. I was married to a wonderful woman for 6 years, we had one child together. She told me she wasn't happy and moved on to another life, she seem's happy now. The awesome woman I am with now I have been with for 11 years and married to her for 7 of those years. She asked me to marry her, which I guess doesn't happen very often in this world. I have worked various jobs and can't say I am really hooked to anyone one thing. I did drive Transport Truck for almost ten years, which I no longer do for I was in a vehicle collision in March 2009 which has left me out of work for the past 5 months. I published a short book of free verse poetry EOMH143 in the past 5 month period, I picked 52 poems from a collection of the over 150 poems I have written over the years. Thank you for stopping by this little blurb about me!

Story Behind The Book

Reviews

EOMH 143 became a reality well before John D TW had knowledge that it would. The poems on love in EOMH 143 were inspired by prior relationships and most by his lovely wife. The inspirational poems on love, he wrote for family, friends and wonderful people he has met throughout his life. Originally the collection of free verse poems on love was going to be named 'Expressions Of My Heart I Love You'. Much to large of a name for a little book of poems on love. The title of the book EOMH 143 was inspired by visiting his parent's. John's parents have been saying 143 to each other for as long as he can remember. 143 in his parents loving relationship stands for "I love you". EOMH is 'Expressions Of My Heart'. John D TW has taken 52 of his free verse poems on love and published them in his first ever book, EOMH 143. When I read his poems, they make me cry, laugh, love, open my heart and bring out emotions, I forget I have. Please enjoy!
