About
I am an author, freelance writer and website builder. I write about my two loves, the paranormal and the blues. The common ground between my loves is history. I love history. My latest book is The Irish Slaves, a non-fiction account of a little-known part of Irish history. The one before that was Haunted Marietta, written for the History Press about my town, Marietta, GA, which recently went into its second printing! I also wrote Ghost to Coast and Ghost to Coast Tours and Haunted Places. For the blues, I wrote T'ain't Nobody's Business If I Do, about women blues singers, and I write a column for examiner.com, Atlanta Blues Examiner. You can learn all about my websites, directories, and more about my books at the website listed above.
Description

Shakespeare's Witches tell Banquo, "Thou Shalt 'Get Kings Though Thou Be None". Though Banquo is murdered, his son Fleance gets away. What happened to Fleance? What Kings? As Shakespeare's audience apparently knew, Banquo was the ancestor of the royal Stewart line. But the road to kingship had a most inauspicious beginning, and we follow Fleance into exile and death, bestowing the Witches' prophecy on his illegitimate son Walter. Born in Wales and raised in disgrace, Walter's efforts to understand Banquo's murder and honor his lineage take him on a long and treacherous journey through England and France before facing his destiny in Scotland.

Story Behind The Book
While I was creating my weekly newsletter for children of safe, fun websites, Fabulous Freebies and Fun Links for Kids, I kept running across great recipes for creating all sorts of craft supplies, from glue to fingerpaint, watercolors, clay, and many, many more. I decided to collect them for my grandchildren and to share with others who might love the idea of knowing exactly what is in the craft supplies their children are using, as well as the budget-friendly and ecological nature of using ingredients you already have at home! Who knew you can even recycle dryer ilnt to make clay, for instance? Or what mom of a toddler wouldn't appreciate edible clay and fingerpaint? So, that is the story behind this little book. I added the stories, starring my grandchildren just for fun!
