Story Behind The Book
When I was thinking about a young adult urban fantasy concept, I knew I wanted to work with angels. Then I started picturing this angel who was arrogant, at least as far as mortals were concerned. I knew I wanted to work with the theme of redemption because invariably all my novels go back to that so I decided to make Lev disdainful of mortals, and very much in need of a lesson about compassion and love. That's how Sojourner was born.
Reviews
BUY SOJOURNER
Buy Sojourner; you won't be disappointed. This is a creative and well
paced supernatural romance that keeps you guessing until the end. The
characters are complex and inviting, and as a reader I found myself
invested in their story from start to finish. The romantic aspects of
the book are similar to the Twilight series, but Maria Rachel Hooley
has her own worthy story to tell in Sojourner.

Timothy Worsham

GREAT NEW SERIES
I am so glad I found out about this series on kindleboards. This first
book really grabbed me from the beginning and it was hard to put down.
I wasn't even finished with it before purchasing the second and third
books. I liked how Elizabeth and Lev's story developed. Great
introduction to a new series.

Stacy L. Daniels

GREAT YA SERIES THAT HAS THIS ADULT HOOKED
I enjoyed this story very much, and have promptly gone and bought the next in the series. This is a very promising author.
