Geeta Iyer isone of the most widely known and respected Yoga teachers in Chennai, India.She has been practicing and teaching Yoga for over 18 years. Her expertiseand continued interest in Psychology and Physiology, has made her an effectiveteacher and distinguishes her from most Yoga teachers.

Geeta has hadthe opportunity to attend many Yoga classes in Yoga ashrams in India and the USA. She has extensive experience teachingboth individual and group classes for private and corporate clients in bothcountries. Corporate clients include the Taj Coromandel Hotel, Hewlett Packardand the World Bank. Geeta shares her Yoga expertise with the broadercommunity through her regular contributions to the ‘Wellness’ column of thereputed ‘The Hindu’ newspaper.

Geeta’s experience as a Yogapractitioner and instructor and her motivation in making the practice of Yogamore accessible globally, has inspired her to write this book and share theamazing benefits of Yoga with the larger community.
