Along with his power came a struggle to keep his enemies at bay, and Godwine's best efforts were brought down by the misdeeds of his eldest son Swegn. Although he became father-in-law to a reluctant Edward the Confessor, his fortunes dwindled as the Normans gained prominence at court. Story Behind The Book
I am an avid reader. I have been since I was a young child. I also begun writing poems and short stories from as early as five years old and in my teen age years I had this dream to write a Jamaican love story, filled with the culture, music, nuances and cadences that are unique to my Jamaican people. I have written numerous stories but this was the only one I had the courage to have published.
