Story Behind The Book
The attack on our own shores on September 11, 2001 was also on my wife's birthday.
My wife was asking questions trying to figure out what had accrued and when we were trying to make sense out of what was happening and I was trying to explain what was going on. It triggered something inside me to write a story that could show scenarios that was obvious to me; of how this could happen in our country. It didn’t take long for my imagination to run wild. I went through sleepless nights. I had a passion to put down all the things that were going through my head. I knew I needed to write this story. This is how “Blood Ties” began.
