Cendrine Marrouat

About

Born in France, Cendrine Marrouat started writing in 2005, a couple of years after moving to Canada. A poet, budding playwright, amateur photographer, and translator, she is considered as the epitome of the “one-woman team” by many. Despite her young age and short writing career, she has managed to accomplish what many would take decades to do.

Cendrine defines poetry as "the language of the soul". As such, she chooses to focus almost exclusively on spirituality, and her positive messages have helped many readers to reconnect with God and face their fears, especially death. Her ultimate goal is to (re-)educate audiences about poetry. And she has partly achieved it. As one of her readers says, "you seem to have found a way to accomplish something the “experts” said couldn’t be done: popularize poetry. Kudos to you!".

Cendrine is the author of four collections of poetry and a CD and the creator of the Soulpoetrysite.com Product Line. She also hosts her own monthly show.
