Story Behind The Book
I love VnV Nation‘s music. Most of it is beautiful and inspiring and can change my energy. VnV Nation has done a song called Colours of the Rain. Upon listening to it years ago I came across an image in my brain of a woman sitting in a meager, grey apartment. She sits on a bed by a window. Rain is falling down the window and she’s crying. But not because she is sad. Years ago (read before I was 20) I was in a situation where I fantasized about just disappearing from my life. I didn’t have enough money to actually do it. I always wondered what it would be like to disappear. Colours of the Rain is where these two scenes come together.
