Story Behind The Book
The idea for Cat's Eyes originated from a simple dream. One sunny morning, a little girl sat on top of a overhanging rock listening to her two cats talking about another land and the danger they were in. From that one scene The Land of Miu was created.
The two main Miuan characters were inspired by my two kittens, Sophie and Jasper. Sophie has mysterious Cat's Eyes (which is where the title came from) and acts like a princess and Jasper isn't as brave as he'd like us to believe.
