"Denise Robbins' delicious debut novel, It Happens in Threes, begins with a bang and doesn't let up. Fueled by a heady mix of action, suspense, humor, and romance—and a couple of thoroughly engaging protagonists—the book kept me turning pages (and hoping that the wild, sexy ride wouldn't end!). IHT marks the launch of a career to watch."

~David Daniel, author of Reunion and The Marble Kite

http://www.daviddanielbooks.com/

Midwest Book Review gave It Happens in Threes 5 Stars

It Happens in Threes is packed with scorching romance, nail-biting suspense, and nonstop action. The chemistry between Ruby and Michael sizzles and Robbins gives the reader quite the tease along with a lot of fun as she adroitly brings Michael and Ruby together only to pull them apart through their own misperceptions. The characters are engaging, from the sensual Ruby to hot-tempered Michael to the deliciously evil yet debonair LaRue. The story moves at a fast pace and keeps the reader entertained throughout. Consider this book one rollicking good read.

~Christy Tillery French, Midwest Book Review and author of The Bodyguard Series

http://www.midwestbookreview.com/rbw/feb_09.htm#christy

Coffee Time Romance gave It Happens in Threes 5 Cups

It Happens in Threes is one adventurous scene after another. Ms. Robbins has written an intense thriller filled with hunky men, beautiful women, and one action-packed stunt after another. I could not put this romantic suspense down; it was just so powerful and overwhelmed my senses. When I first met Ruby, she gave me the impression of being a wimpy woman, but it was not long before I comprehended that she has a spine of steel. Where Michael came off as a hardcore man with a superhero complex, I found his weakness was not kryptonite but Ruby herself. The author took a great story, stuffed it with sexual tension, added some drama, and crammed enough exploits to turn a wonderful spy novel into a perfect tale with unique twists and mysterious turns, accomplishing her goal of making one heck of a romantic and suspenseful adventure!

Danielle
Reviewer for Coffee Time Romance & More

http://www.coffeetimeromance.com/BookReviews/Ithappensinthrees.html
