Inmy youth my Grandfather told me, Never ask a man where he is from if he’s fromTexas hell tell you and if he’s not why embarrass him? Having said that I wasborn in a county up in Northeast Texas… Pennsylvania, July 13, 1944.

 

Inmy life, I have been blest with more talent than I knew what to do with becauseI have been able to master any task I undertook with ease, I never truly didanything 100%. I always took the easy way never really applying myself toanything.  But that was all part ofHIS plan it lead me from educating myself beyond my own intelligence, makingsix figure incomes, to being humbled and broken by GOD and shown I knew nothingand was nothing without HIM.

 

Myresume includes, accomplished equestrian, teacher, preacher, singer, song writer,author, athlete, skydiver, scuba diver, Viet Nam Vet, marketing director,public relations director, aquatics director and on and on.  My life was full of fluff and nosubstance. It was not until Easter sunrise of 1993 that I discovered thecalling GOD had on my life.

 

Together,my wife Catherine and I have established MorningStar Ranch Ministries in theSan Antonio, Texas area and have been blest to watch GODs majestic creaturesminister and change lives. We have grown from just our own personal horses to apasture full of everything from Arabians, Percherons, Quarter Horses, AmericanSaddlebreds, Hackney Ponies, Welsh Ponies, Caspians and even a few donkeyssprinkled in. GODis now, and always has been, in the testimony business. HE has taken me down aroad that has brought me to a Biblical understanding of who we as men weredesigned to be. HE has, through these horses, taught me HIS principles ofsubmission to master. HE has given me a ministry that allows me to use theseprecious horses to demonstrate HIS principles in a way that is both humblingand exhilarating.

 

What I have been taught I now endeavor to impart toyou I pray I can.
