Born and raised in South Mississippi.  Graduated from William Carey College in 1983 with a Bachelor's Degree in Church Music, from International Seminary in Plymouth, FL, in 1994 with a Master's Degree in Theology, and from Andersonville Baptist Seminary in Camilla, Ga, with a Doctor of Biblical Studies degree.
