My grandmother taught me to read when I was two, and it was always the stories that enthralled me, never the lessons. In elementary school, I was the playground storyteller often telling stories for the expressed purpose of frightening the other kids. Over the course of years, I’ve used my Master’s Degree in English for many paying jobs that did not include storytelling, but my heart is always in the weaving of a tale.
