Wade McCoy, MD is a familypractice physician at Gilbert Medical Center in Bethany, Oklahoma. He met Dr.Kirkland in 1986 in an Introduction to Biology class at Southwestern OklahomaState University. Dr. McCoy is from rural Reydon, Oklahoma, a town of less than200 people. He currently lives in Oklahoma City with his wife, Sarah, and theirtwo daughters.  “Rainbow in theDark” is McCoy's debut novel.
