Berney K. Dorton, a native of El Sobrante, California,is married, mother of three grown children, an accomplished Registered Nurse,professor, inspirational speaker, and author. She received a Bachelorof Science degree and Public Health Nursing degree from the University of San Francisco,School of Nursing. Berney excelled academically,receiving a Master of Science degree in Nursing, and Education from the University of Phoenix. As a professor, she taught at theDominicanSchoolof Nursing in Marin, California,the Samuel Merritt College School of Nursing, and ContraCostaCollegein San Pablo, California.
She works diligently with the Good News Jail Ministryin Richmond, California, studies with the Bible Study InternationalFellowship, and co-founder of the Millennium Women in Richmond, California.Sheis a respected inspirational speakerand the television host of "Flames of Fire" ministry. Her recent project is networking with Circle of LoveMen ministry in Houston, Texas under the auspices of Minister AshtonAdams and Minister Wenzell Stafford. She is an ambassador of the Chamber of Commercein Richmond, California.
